Special Events List.

This Ashland ACBL duplicate game has been in existance for at least 25 years. The game was started by Bill Slife, a long time East Bay Bridge director and past President of Unit 500. Bill was followed by Chuck Seuser, also a past President. It was transferred to Chuck Wong and then to Bill Hodges. Bill turned the game over to Charlie Conrad as of March 1, 2011.

Announcements

This site has been updated for 2012 and it has been modified to add the San Felipe Game. Here's a link to the Dec 29 Thursday game, if you're looking for it. All other 2011 games have been archived. Happy New Year!

Non-Life Master Sections. At both the Ashland and San Felipe games, I am encouraging non-life masters to attend so that we can also have an NLM section. This also also increases the master point awards. Whenever we have sufficient attendance we'll separate the game into an open section and a NLM section.

There are a variety of special games, such as club championships, STaC games and Unit Games, all of which have increased master point awards. Please review the Unit 500 monthly calendar and my Special Events List for higher rated games.

New San Felipe Friday Morning Game: Barbara Dabney and I are starting a new Friday Morning Game in Hayward at the San Felipe Park Community Center starting January 13th, 2012. We need your help to make this a successful game. This is the first regular Friday ACBL game in our area in over 30 years. See our information flyer for details and directions.
